You will very soon be able to put your apprenticeship levy to good use.
A distinct lack of relevant apprenticeship standards for schools means that most schools have been frustrated about the funds been taken from the already tight budgets. However, I have some very good news.
From September, you will be able to use your apprenticeship levy funding to enrol your support staff on Evolve’s Health Mentor Training Programme. Evolve has used this course to train Health Mentors who are placed within schools across England and Wales to improve outcomes for vulnerable pupils and develop a culture of wellbeing within partner schools.
The training is suitable for teaching assistants, learning mentors and anyone in your pastoral team. The programme is accredited at both level 3 and 4, is 12 months long and will require learners to commit to off-the-job learning as well as focussed development support within the workplace.
Schools have been asking for this award-winning training opportunity for their staff for some time and the programme is bound to be oversubscribed for the first 12 to 24 months. Therefore, I strongly recommend that you register your interest in our programme using the following link.
Note: You do not need to hire new staff to capitalise on this offer. Apprenticeship levy funding can be used to train your existing workforce.
