Evolve is a finalist in the coveted ukactive and Matrix Flame Awards 2016 in the Shaping Young Lives category.

The national accolades in the health, fitness and physical activity sector recognise finalists which have demonstrated exceptional standards and stand out from the competition.

Evolve Chairman Graham Morgan is delighted that the company has been shortlisted for another award, following four major accolades last year alone.

He said: “Our strength is that we do not limit ourselves to sport, PE and fitness.

“For nine years we have pioneered innovative practice to support increased physical engagement and emotional wellbeing for children. This also leads to improved academic achievement.

“Our commitment to training means that we are striving for higher standards wherever possible to help children.”

The winners of 14 categories in the ukactive and Matrix Flame Awards 2016 will be announced at Telford International Centre in Shropshire on June 29, following  the ukactive Flame Conference.

Entrants have proven through the assessment process that the work they do is shaping the future of physical activity in the UK.

ukactive is a not-for-profit health body for the physical activity sector, with over 3,500 members from activity providers to major consumer brands, training facilities and equipment manufacturers.

Evolve has won many awards, including last year: Regional Growth Award 2015; UnLtd Big Venture Challenge 2015; Birmingham Post SME of the Year 2015 and the Social Enterprise of the Year, Birmingham Awards 2015
