No Limits for Project HE:RO

No Limits (UK) Charitable Trust is a new charity that has been established to support children, young people and adults coping with disadvantage and disability across the UK and has offered its support to Project HE:RO.

No Limits (UK) Charitable Trust has offices in the same building as Evolve: A Social Impact Company in Keighley, West Yorkshire, and has seen Project HE:RO help children to improve their own lives over a number of years. The charity is keen to help roll this proven and sustainable project out to additional areas within England and Wales. Evolve director, Graham Morgan, has also recently joined Dave Wolverson and Allan Moffat on the No Limits Board of Trustees.

Project HE:RO has demonstrated its effectiveness in raising standards through improved behaviour, attendance and attainment in numerous educational authorities throughout England and Wales by focussing on the emotional and physical health and wellbeing of pupils. No Limits has pledged £25,000 of scholarship funding to support the training that talented and ambitious young people need to become Health Mentors.

As part of the accredited Health Mentor Training Programme, trainees are placed within a number of partner schools over a 12 month period in order to gain relevant experience and implement the mentoring and physical activity strategies that they develop during the course. Consequently, a select number of schools will also benefit from this financial support if they can offer a suitable placement experience.

A letter from the charity chairman is attached here and outlines the conditions that must be before a school may receive a trainee who will receive this unique scholarship support through No Limits.
