As you are no doubt aware, 2012 is the year of the London Olympic Games, the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the UEFA European Championships, to be hosted by Poland and the Ukraine.  During these events, interest and excitement, in both children and adults, will reach fever pitch across the entire country.

Enrich your curriculum with fun days of active learning

Evolve have developed a range of curriculum event days to engage with young learners of all abilities and all year groups, and these are not just other overly competitive Olympic based events.

1.  BeFit 2012

  • Have a blast preparing for the London Olympics
  • Improve core strength, speed and stamina
  • Individual progress checking with strong cross curriculum links

2.  The Jubilee Games

  • Retro sports games with modern twists
  • Active learning with a taste of “It’s a Knockout”
  • Break out the bunting and celebrate
  • Guaranteed laughter and great school memories for all year groups

3.  The ABC Mutiskills Challenge

  • Attention, Balance and Coordination
  • Improves physical literacy
  • Fun, multi-station “circuit” format

4.  The Schools Football Initiative – EURO 2012

  • Proven football tournament format
  • Each small sided team represents a country
  • Every player will have fun improving key skills

Active learning with strong cross curriculum links

Every Evolve event day employs active learning techniques and engages with pupils of all physical and academic abilities.  Cross curriculum links to the following subjects are particularly strong: Numeracy, Literacy, Geography, History, Art and Design, IT and Music.

Focussed and adaptable

At your discretion, particular cross curriculum links can be emphasised and enhanced.  Furthermore, all events can be adapted to encompass staff and parental participation, making sure you get the bespoke event that is right for your school.

Book now to make sure you get the dates you want!

Our specially trained and dedicated staff have a fixed allocation of days that they can use to deliver these workshops. Demand is strong and the diaries are filling up so please act quickly to ensure your school gets the event and dates you want.

Each Evolve curriculum enrichment day is charged at £250 (+VAT) for a maximum of 200 pupils, with discounts available for early and multiple bookings
