Evolve Director Graham Morgan speaks at Primary Schools PE Conference

  • Posted by Josh Cronin
  • On 29th January 2009

Over 200 delegates at the Bradford Schools Primary PE Conference at Valley Parade Bradford listened to the presentation on the impact that Primary School Physical Education, Sport and Dance can have in the combat against obesity. Graham stressed the key role that Primary school Physical Education could play in building the lifestyles of the next generation.

Bradford had been unfairly labelled the “Fattest City in Europe” and Graham congratulated the teachers present on the excellent work they had produced to lift the quantity and quality of Physical Education provision to respond to national targets.

“Phil Wagner and his team have done a great job with this Conference and deserve every congratulation.” said Graham. “There were some great presentations and evidence of much high quality work going on in Bradford schools. I was delighted with the response to my presentation and feel there is plenty of scope to extend this topic in the near future”.

Over 20 delegates and some fellow presenters have contacted Evolve for follow up meetings.
