Damon Fox – Regional Manager – Lincolnshire
Damon is Regional Manager for Evolve in Lincolnshire and is currently responsible for recruitment, local staff training and organises all activity within his area to be delivered by his team of Health Mentors.
Since completing college with A Level’s in sport studies and AVCE Leisure and Recreation, Damon gained experience working in Michigan, America in 2005 and 2006 under the Camp America banner. It was then he realised he wanted to be involved in teaching physical activity. Damon has been with Evolve supporting primary schools for the past 5 years, and has since seen the uptake of schools involved soar. Damon feels he and his team have the ability to provide schools in Lincolnshire with high quality and effective solutions, to the challenges faced in school PE today.
Damon has always said passionately “It’s a real privilege to work in schools in the area that I grew up in and give something back to the next generation”. Damon was fortunate to grow up wanting to play all sports and was given the opportunity to do so through his primary & secondary school and their well driven staff. He believes that his academic achievements partly come down to his learning environment, which was full of praise especially in engaging activities such as PE and school sport.
Damon has accumulated a great status in the area of Lincolnshire and is extremely well respected for his role and ability to build relationships within his schools. Other than his passion for improving children’s lives through physical engagement, Damon enjoys being active through football, long distance running. He also enjoys music and time spent with friends.
