August sees Evolve dedicate itself to a recruitment drive around the UK to add further Dance and Sport staff to its ranks. Three major regions were targeted for growth and key towns in those areas hosted the interview process.

11th August 2008 – Recruitment in Leeds at the John Charles Stadium
13th August 2008 – Recruitment in Birmingham at Aston University
14th August 2008 – Recruitment in South Wales at the Cwmbran stadium

Following the interview process the successful candidates then attended a three day residential Boot Camp (27th to 29th August 2008) in preparation for the forthcoming academic year where they learned more about the company and how it operates.

Joshua Barwick, a former Evolve Education NVQ student, wins the British Theatre Dance Council International Ballet Championships 2008. The competition held annually in Blackpool invites talented students to compete for cash bursaries to assist with training costs.

Seventeen year old Josh, a former student at DM Academy, is now studying at the Elmhurst School for Dance in Birmingham. Josh is also thrilled to be chosen by Evolve Education as a Youth Ambassador for the company.
